Santiago Solari made a joke referring to Julia Roberts when asked about Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid links.
The Portuguese gaffer has been tipped to make a return to Santiago Bernabeu after the recent woes of Real Madrid this season.
Real Madrid gaffer Santiago Solari has said that the Spanish club has more suitors than famous actress Julia Roberts on being asked that whether the club’s recent links with Jose Mourinho worries him or not. The former Galacticos manager has been one of the candidates who has been most spoken about in recent times to take over the reins at Santiago Bernabeu after Los Blancos have had a disastrous period in the domestic competition and have been beaten twice in the span of four days at the hands of bitter rivals Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey semi-final and La Liga respectively.
Answering the questions about whether he is concerned about his career and whether Mourinho could replace him at the helm of Real Madrid, Solari said, “This club has always had more suitors than Julia Roberts, it’s quite normal.”
The Galacticos are set to take on the Dutch giants Ajax in their next match in the Champions League in their own backyard. The reigning European champions carry a one-goal advantage into the second leg of the match after beating Ajax by 2-1 in the first leg of the matchup last month and would be confident to reach the next round.
