Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin faces another uncertain summer after revealing that there are clubs chasing his signature.
The 25 year-old has been part of a Saints team which has shocked everybody this season, having overcome the loss of some star players to remain in and around the top 4 for the majority of the season.
And it’s this form which has only made Schneiderlin even more desirable for the clubs who were chasing him last summer, including North London duo Arsenal and Spurs.
When speaking to Canal+ this week, the France international said: ” I have a contract until 2017.
”Today, I aspire to play at the highest level. There are clubs that are interested, but I haven’t agreed to join anyone. I am concentrating on my matches. I know for sure that something is going to happen.”
This doesn’t make happy reading for Saints fans, however if they can continue their good form this season Schneiderlin could well stay at St Mary’s with boss Ronald Koeman building an exciting side that look on course for European football next season.
