Saints confirm Gabbiadini deal
Southampton have completed the signing of Manolo Gabbiadini.
The ex-Napoli striker had loan spells at Sampdoria and Bologna and has 6 caps for his country.
He becomes Southampton’s club-record signing, costing the Saints an approximate fee of £17million.
He comes in as cover for the injured Charlie Austin, who was doing well for the club since his move from QPR, but has struggled with injuries recently.
Southampton have plenty to play for this season, as they are 11th in the Premier League and have an EFL final on the horizon against Manchester United on February 26th.
