Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has refused to rule out a potential move to Premier League giants Arsenal in the Summer as he believes he is ready to play for a ‘big club’.
The French holding-man has made quite a name for himself in the heart of The Saints midfield, and was catching the eye of Arsene Wenger last season, before The Gunners boss decided to re-sign Mathieu Flamini.
The 24-year-old is the holding-midfielder that Arsenal have lacked ever since selling Patrick Vieira, and speaking in an interview back in his homeland of France, Schneiderlin revealed he intends to move to a ‘big club’ soon and Arsenal could be the destination.
‘It is my dream to one day play at a great club,’ he told the French media.
‘Arsenal? I have a three year contract, so it will not be easy. It’s my dream to one day play at a great club though – so why not?’
Wenger has reportedly got a transfer kitty worth around £100million to spend in the Summer, and a goalkeeper, right-back, holding-midfielder, winger and striker are all on his wish-list.
