Real Madrid defender, Alvaro Arbeloa believes that the ‘now-legendary’ Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho could make a shock return to manage the La Liga club some day.
Mourinho was head coach at the Bernabeu for three years before he left the Spanish giants in 2013 to return to his beloved Chelsea, and having waved that magic Mourinho wand yet again, the West Londoners currently lead the Premier League by six points.
Mourinho is contracted to Chelsea until 2017, and many believe he will win much silverware before then, but Arbeloa still believes that ‘the special one’, will one day return to Madrid.
‘There is a chance that Mourinho will return to Real Madrid in the future,’ Arbeloa told El Chiringuito.
‘I do not know when, but I do believe he could return one day.
Mourinho’s previous spell in Madrid was not always plain sailing, with many believing that he fell out with a number of star players whilst in the hot seat. Arbeloa doesn’t seem to think that this will effect the future:
‘I do not agree with those who say he divided Madrid,
‘I am a Mourinho fan. He knows what he wants and is always straight and honest. He does not have any fear.’
