The club president, Bruno de Carvalho, is speaking at the Soccerex Global Conference about ‘how to run a successful club’, and it is expected that Manchester United assistant boss Ryan Giggs will be in attendance as well as Liverpool CEO Ian Ayre.
Many reports in Portugal have hinted at discussions over Carvalho’s future being at the top of the agenda for all the club representatives, with potential offers even being at the subject of submittion.
It is believed that there will be a momunmental scramble for the 21-year-old’s siganuture with the Portuguese’s £37 million release clause in his contract expiring at the end of the summer transfer window.
Indeed it is expected that de Carvalho will set some groundwork for a future move for his key asset, but it is still unclear what Carvalho’s agent, Jorge Mendes makes of the situation.
It is now to be seen whether or not de Carvlaho is successful in his bid to sell his star man for a high fee, but of course, no move could take place until the re-opening of the transfer window in January.
