Spurs have began talks with Swansea over a £50 million triple deal that will see Michel Vorm, Wilfired Bony and Ben Davies swap the Liberty Stadium for White Hart Lane. New Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is in the market for proven premier league players to sure up his squad for the 2014/15 season after a 6th place finish last season. The Argentine is ready to bid big in order to make sure he gets his top targets. Although Spurs may face competition for the signiture of Vorm and Bony as Liverpool are credited with an interets in the keeper and striker.

Liverpool who could look to Vorm to provide competition for Simon Mignolet if they miss out on Guillermo Ochoa will also be looking for reinforcements in the striking department if Luis Suarez is to make his big money move to Barcelona. Therefore Pochettino is looking to wrap the deal up quickly to see of any interest from Liverpool. The Argentine has earmarked the Swansea trio as they have all impressed during the last premier league campaign. Bony who scored 20 goals in all competitions for Swansea last season would address their lack of firepower upfront as Roberto Soldado has failed to impress since his switch from Valencia last season.

It seems Bony will demand half of the quoted £50 million with Swansea looking resigned to lose both the Ivorian and keeper Vorm after signing French striker Bafetimbe Gomis and Lukas Fabianski on free transfers. However the Welsh club will battle to keep hold of left back Ben Davies, who they are not keen to sell as they see him as one for the futture. Spurs will try to force Gary Monk’s hand with a £13 million bid for the young Welsh fullback. Vorm who would provide competition with Hugo Lloris would demand a fee of around £12 million.

According to Wales Online talks have taken place this week and the deal is on the cards.
