Tottenham Hotspur to make move for Chelsea winger

Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Mohamed Salah from Chelsea over the Summer and are prepared to pay up to £18million for the winger.

The Egyptian international is not in Jose Mourinho‘s plans and after being sent out on loan in January to Serie A side Fiorentina, it’s believed the winger will be off at the end of the season.

Permanent Deal in Italy

However, according to the Italian side, they can agree a deal with Chelsea over making it permanent and after Salah‘s superb displays since arriving in January, it’s believed they want to exercise the option of making it a permanent deal.

The Viola are prepared to pay £18m as well for the winger and are keen on holding talks with Chelsea before Spurs try and sneak in with a bid.

Out of Favour

The 22-year-old fell down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and after Mourinho signed Juan Cuadrado, it was clear that Salah didn’t have a future in West London.

However, he could be given a Premier League revival by Tottenham, who are desperate to add to their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Spurs Interest

Mauricio Pochettino has been very impressed with Salah’s displays for Fiorentina and wants to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Spurs will have to move quick to talk to Salah and persuade him to snub a move to Serie A.
