It is believed that Manchester United are the other side that could provide competition for Real Madrid, with Moyes looking to win over the Old Trafford faithful.
Other reports suggest that this is just a tactic used by Spurs, to encourage Real Madrid to bid more in order to sign the Welsh wizard.
Bale is currently in Spain discussing terms with the Real Madrid board, but is expected back at White Hart Lane if a deal is not struck by Thursday.
