Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling is set to be rewarded for his current fine form with an International call-up from Roy Hodgson. Hodgson has already decided that he would like the 19 year old in his squad for England’s March friendly against Denmark, and with Theo Walcott set to miss the World Cup, Sterling is showing why he deserves to be on the plance to Brazil in the summer. Team-mate Jordan Henderson is also in line for the squad against Denmark, which is at Wembley on March 5th. Henderson is also showing a dramatic improvement in form this season at Anfield, and is set to be rewarded with a new contract.

Sterling scored 2 goals in Liverpool’s impressive 5-1 home win against Arsenal on Saturday, and already has 1 senior cap for England, which came against Sweeden in 2012, when he was just 17. With Theo Walcott ruled out and Tottenham’s Andros Townsend also struggling for form after injury, Sterling’s chances of making that plane look good. Henderson’s name on the list is less surprising as he has been involved more with Hodgson’s side recently, but his recent form has put him in the frame for a trip to Brazil.
