The midfielder is available on a short-term basis this month
Stoke are the latest side to enter the race for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to reports.
The Chelsea man is available on loan this month and several sides have already been quick to express an interest in his services.
West Ham have been linked with a potential move, while Brighton have also been contemplating a bid as they battle for the Championship title.
Struggled for gametime at Chelsea
The midfielder has struggled for gametime under Antonio Conte and the Blues boss wants the 20-year old to go out and get more first-team experience elsewhere.
Stoke could offer him that experience, as they would give him regular first-team experience as long as he is fit.
The Potters have taken Chelsea stars on loan before and given them the gametime that they need and this relationship that is already in place between the two clubs could give Stoke the upper-hand in the battle for Loftus-Cheek’s signature.
Loftus-Cheek – who regularly features for the England Under-21 side – is highly regarded at Stamford Bridge and they’ll be hoping he comes back with a wealth of experience that could help him break into the first-team upon his return.
