Suarez says Barcelona star target will be welcomed at the club
Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho is hot property in the transfer market right now, and is being eyed by a number of clubs, one of them being La Liga giants Barcelona.
Luiz Suarez, who is good friends with Coutinho, has said that the club rates him highly and he will be welcomed at Barcelona. He showered praise on the Brazilian, as well Antoine Griezman, while speaking to Spanish radio.
“Both Griezmann and Coutinho are elite players that are playing at the top level. They are where they are for a reason. They’re both young and have long careers ahead of them. And Barca always want the best players”, he said.
Despite three failed attempts, Coutinho is still in line for a move to Barcelona, having handed his transfer request at the Anfield. The 25-year-old joined The Reds in 2013, has made 149 appearances for the club ever since.
