Manager could be sacked from Liberty Stadium following poor spell

Swansea City officials are considering the future of manager Garry Monk following the poor run of results at the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans had to come from two goals down to earn a draw at home against strugglers AFC Bournemouth, and according to reports, officials at the club are considering Monk‘s future.

It’s reported that Monk and his assistant Pep Clotet could both lose their jobs in the near-future due to the poor start to the new campaign.

Facing the Sack

Swansea have won just once in the last 10 games and are currently sitting 14th in the Premier League, and despite Monk’s heroics since taking over back in 2014, he could be set for the chop.

The former-defender took over from Michael Laudrup back in February 2014 and helped them achieve a record-high finish last season when they finished 8th in the table.

However, this season’s form has seriously jeopardised his job and he could be facing the sack.
