The Swedish striker, who finally completed his protracted transfer on deadline day, shared his positive first impressions of both the team and the city.

“Great so far,” Isak stated during a press conference ahead of Sweden’s World Cup qualifier.

“Great team and a city where the team has a good relationship with the fans. It’s been okay so far”.

Isak’s transition to Liverpool has been a carefully managed process. After a summer spent training alone in an effort to force the move away from Newcastle, the 26-year-old arrived at Anfield without a pre-season and lacking match rhythm.

Liverpool’s medical and coaching staff, described by head coach Arne Slot as “measured, not cautious,” have been gradually increasing his playing time.

To date, Isak has made six appearances for Liverpool, logging 312 minutes on the pitch with three starts, one goal, and one assist. His only goal so far came in a 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Southampton.

In a significant update for both club and country, Isak declared himself ready to play a full match for the first time since joining Liverpool.

“Tomorrow I’m ready for 90 minutes if needed,” he announced.

“It’s been a month now. I’ve had a lot more playing time and things have calmed down. I feel in a much better position now than last time”.

This fitness boost comes at a crucial period for Liverpool, who have faced recent setbacks with three consecutive losses.

Isak’s increasing match sharpness offers a timely boost as the Reds prepare for their upcoming Premier League fixtures.

Those close to the striker suggest he has settled quietly into life on Merseyside, maintaining a low profile and spending extra time at the AXA Training Centre as he focuses on regaining his peak condition.
