Wojciech Szczesny tried to convince his polish team mate Robert Lewandowski to sign for Arsenal. He ended up signing a contract for rivals Bayern Munchen. Lewandowski is going to move to the Munich side on free transfer at the end of the season. Arsene wenger confirmed interest in the striker and that he had looked in to it and that the polish keeper was assisting him.
Wojciech Szczesny said: “Lewandowski has been my friend for a very long time.”
The gunners keeper claimed he tried his best.
