Chelsea to sell Tammy Abraham?
The player can leave Chelsea this winter after having a successful autumn in Aston Villa.
Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham is having a good season with Aston Villa in the English Championship this season so far. The 21-year-old was loaned out by the Blues at the start of the season and he has gone onto grab the opportunity with both hands and has shown that he is lesser to none when it comes to showing his class on the pitch. The Englishman has already scored 10 goals and has also dished out one assist to show for his efforts this season so far.
This is the third straight season that the English under 21 international has been sent out on loan and this time around, the Villans are looking to make his move to Villa Park permanent. The Chelsea striker is leading the line with flair and accuracy for them and according to the Daily Mail, Dean Smith is ready to tie him down.
However, the report also says that Chelsea are looking to get the in-form forward back into their lineup. Both their strikers, Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata have not been consistent when it comes to goal scoring and Maurizio Sarri might be interested in having the 21-year-old to lead the line in January, as they have an option of recalling him during mid-season.
As far as the player is concerned, Abraham has said that playing under Aston Villa’s assistant manager John Terry has improved his game. This might be a good opportunity for the Villans to capitalise on the good relationship that the former Chelsea legend has with the West London club and get Abraham to become a permanent member of his squad next summer.
