Chelsea captain John Terry could have played his last game for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Despite Chelsea fans chanting his name as the skipper led the lap of appreciation on Sunday, contract talks have broken down according to reports
Terry is not willing to accept a massive pay cut – his £175,000 weekly salary could be halved in a 12-month deal.
The blues captain has mentioned he wants to stay at the club he has been playing for since he was 15, and who has lead throughout the greatest period of Chelsea’s history.
However after an outstanding season for the club, he believes he deserves a better deal and unless they can reach a deal, Terry may have said his final goodbye on Sunday.
