The story first broke that Diego Costa wanted to be substituted off with 20 minuted left in the game against Leicester City, But the Blues Boss refused his request.

It’s been said it wasn’t the real reason and in fact he was just tired of the manager nagging him.
The striker clashed with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte after  ‘growing tired’ and wanted to avoid a suspension, being that if he got one more yellow he would be suspended upcoming matches.
However, Mirrorsport claim he was actually furious at Conte’s criticism of his performance on the day.
This is all speculation and most probably just the mainstream media looking for a story.
