On the eve of their meeting in the Champions League tomorrow night, Thiago Silva has sang the praises of opponent Eden Hazard.
Silva’s Paris Saint-Germain host Hazard’s Chelsea in tomorrow’s Champions League last 16 first leg game.
However, the Brazilian international central defender expressed his admiration for one of the Blues’ key men. He revealed that he is a player that he wished PSG coud sign so he could have the privelege of playing with him.
In a recent Champions League question and answer session, Silva said: “Eden [Hazard] is not just good, he is very good.”
Ultimately, the PSG captain will have to worry about defending against Hazard tomorrow night to prevent him doing any damage.
The Belgium international recently signed a new five-and-a-half year deal with Chelsea, in which he will earn £200,000-a-week.
