Reports claiming Belgian wants return to Madrid
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois wants to leave the club in order to join La Liga giants Real Madrid, according to reports.
The Blues were rocked a few days ago with reports suggesting Cesc Fabregas wants out, and it’s now been claimed that the Belgian goalkeeper also wants to leave Stamford Bridge.
Courtois spent three years in Madrid during a long-term loan-spell, and despite playing for Atletico, he is keen on returning in order to play for Real.
Things are not well at Chelsea on-and-off the pitch following an eventful season, and it seems a lot of the controversies are taking their toll on the players, with a few of them being linked with exits from the club.
Chelsea Exodus
Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Oscar, Ramires, Nemanja Matic, Fabregas, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa have all been linked with exits from the club, and now Courtois is another name being talked about.
Real Madrid are still in the market for a new ‘keeper after missing out on David De Gea over the summer, and Courtois could be seen as a suitable alternative.
