Thierry Henry thinks that Tiemoue Bakayoko should have definitely started for Arsenal against Chelsea on Sunday

Thierry Henry has told the Blues boss that he made a big mistake by not starting Tiemoue Bakayoko in Chelsea’s goalless draw with Arsenal on Sunday.

Conte chose to pair Cesc Fabregas with N’Golo Kante in central midfield for the west London side against the Gunners, but the pair struggled against Arsene Wenger’s men.

Bakayoko was left on the bench before being called upon in the second half of the stalemate at Stamford Bridge.

And former Arsenal striker Henry feels that Conte made an error by not starting Bakayoko against the north London side.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Henry said: “I think they [Chelsea] got it wrong [against Arsenal].

“Tiemoue Bakayoko should have started. Cesc Fabregas should have played higher and Bakayoko alongside N’Golo Kante.”
