Pundit Kevin Kilbane has given his verdict on which Chelsea player stood out in the FA third round
Even though Pedro scored a double, Kilbane says this Brazilian star was Chelsea’s best player according to Kilbane:
“Pedro was excellent, but Willian was the one who shone,” he told Match of the Day 2.
“He’s not started a lot of games recently with Conte changing the system.
“But he played in this inside-right channel today and he was so hard to pick up – everything he did was of real quality.
“The link-up play with Michy Batshuayi was excellent and it was consistent throughout.
“They couldn’t live with him today, I thought he was outstanding.
“We speak so often about lads coming into the side and the need to take their chance. He certainly did that.
“He deserved his goal.”
