Thomas Tuchel insists Paris Saint Germain can register a victory at the Old Trafford when they take on Manchester United in the Champions League but is aware of their threat.
The Red Devils are set for a tricky test as they are scheduled to face PSG, undoubtedly one of the mightiest team on the European soil currently. The attacking threat of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar could have an adverse effect on United’s shaky backline.
Jose Mourinho would have hoped for a far more simpler opponent but in the current scenario only a miraculous performance can get them through to the next stages of the Champions League.
Tuchel said, “We have the quality to win at Old Trafford. I’m confident for my team, but it’s a great test, a challenge.
“If I were a spectator, I would watch this game on television.
“We must respect the clubs that have experience of these major meetings in the Champions League, such as Manchester United. They have won this competition several times.
“It will be important to show our desire to win, but also that in the two months before we play every game thoroughly — it would be a great mistake to now just focus on the Champions League game.”
