The Belgian has claimed he will only consider a move back once he has become a first-team regular in Germany

Thorgan Hazard doesn’t plan on returning to Chelsea anytime soon, according to reports.

The brother of current Blues star, Eden Hazard, used to play for the club before leaving to join Borussia Monchengladbach in 2014. He has since begun to play a lot more regularly in Germany and has steadily become one of his side’s key players.

It’s led to reports that Chelsea might be keen to bring him back to Stamford Bridge, with some news stories claiming that there was a buy-back clause in his contract that they were set to trigger.

However, Monchengladbach have denied these reports but there IS believed to be a clause in his contract that allows the Blues to sign him before anyone else if the Bundesliga side do decide to move him on.

Hazard happy in Germany

But, Chelsea are likely to be waiting a while before they do decide to sell him – Hazard’s current club are more than happy to keep him and will be extremely reluctant to let him leave anywhere.

The player himself doesn’t appear to be rushing to get his bags and move back to England. The Belgium international has claimed he is happy where he is and it is believed that he doesn’t fancy a move back yet, as he doesn’t feel he would play consistently.

He has managed to feature quite heavily in the Bundesliga over the last two seasons, starting 30 times for his current side. But, the 23-year old still doesn’t feel that he would get first-team action if he moved back, so it looks like he will be staying where he is for the time being.
