Three European giants, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are keen on the signature of Chelsea Football Club defender Cesar Azpilicueta, According to reports from Sky Sports.
Azpilicueta’s versatility in defence has caught the eye of some of Europe’s elites as they all look to strengthen their squads for next season.
Barcelona are now looking to replace outgoing Dani Alves, and Carlo Ancelotti is said to be keen to reunite with the Spain international over at Bayern.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly the top favourites to sign him up, however, they could back out yet when they complete a deal to sign the Croatian full back Sime Vrsaljko. but, it would seem Azpilicueta is not as keen for a move to any of the clubs after he revealed he is happy with life at Stamford Bridge earlier this week.
“It’s always a compliment that you are wanted, I’ve heard highly about Valverde, but I’m focused on the national team and Chelsea, I’ve been there for four years, I am very happy and I feel highly valued.” Azpilicueta told Spanish paper AS on reports linking him with a move to Athletic Club.
