The Blues are only two wins from the Premier League title, however, according to mainstream media three stars are set to miss the clash.

Thibaut Courtois, David Luiz and N’Golo Kante could miss Middlesbrough clash as David Luiz has been struggling with knee problems since December and he seemed to strain his groin at Everton last week.

N’Golo Kante has a thigh issue, while goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is currently getting treatment for an injured right ankle.

There have been other senior squad members seen leaving Stamford Bridge or boarding the coach at away games with a bit of a limp from a knock or some strapping around a part of their leg in past weeks.

No doubt Conte has a back up plan if these guys aren’t available and training at Chelsea has been intense:

Conte said: “We have five games to go this season, four in the League and the FA Cup Final.

“In this part of the season, it is important to work, to continue to have the right balance during training sessions and to prepare the team in the right way, the tactical and mental aspect, to be focused on every game.

“Our attitude, our work rate, our behaviour must be the same. We are doing a good job but together we want this to become a fantastic job. There is only one way to do this and that’s to win the title.

“It’s very important that three of our last four League games are at home. It’s important the fans push us a lot against Middlesbrough and we get to win together.

“It won’t be easy because Middlesbrough are struggling to avoid relegation. We must be ready. Ready to fight, ready to find the right way to take three points.”
