THREE Premier League clubs interested says Sterling’s agent

It’s been a controversial week for Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling’s agent, Aidy Ward, claims that Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all interested in signing his client.

Sterling admitted to Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers earlier this week that he wanted to leave the club in the summer, and that he wouldn’t be signing a new deal. However, the club still remain adamant that the forward is NOT for sale.

However, despite the Reds’ desperation to keep hold of the England international, Ward confirms it’s almost a certainty he’ll leave Anfield; even if it’s to a Premier League rival.

When speaking to the London Evening Standard, Ward said: “I don’t care about the PR of the club and the club situation. I don’t care, he is definitely not signing. He’s not signing for ÂŁ700, ÂŁ800, ÂŁ900 thousand a week. He is not signing.”

He also added: “My job is to make sure I do the best with my clients. If people say I am bad at my job, or they are badly advised it does not matter.”

Speculation from Manchester

Being from London and starting his career at Queens Park Rangers, Sterling may want to move back down South, hence the interest from both Chelsea and Arsenal.

On the other hand, reports last night from the Liverpool Echo suggested that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal had made an enquiry for the 20-year old. Also, there are rumours that Manchester City will offer Sterling a ÂŁ200,000-a-week contract to come to the Etihad Stadium.

‘He’s a knob’

The Sterling news was met by criticism by Liverpool legend and now Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher.

Speaking live on Monday Night Football, Carragher said: “For a 20-year-old kid to be taking on Liverpool Football Club over a contract. To the pit of my stomach that just winds me up, it angers me.”

Again, Sterling’s representative Ward had his say on the matter…

“Carragher is a knob. Everybody knows it,” remarked Ward.
