Like Clint Dempsey, Tim Cahill wants to come back to the Premier League when the MLS is over. Cahill is currently playing for New York Red Bulls and wants to return to England on a loan basis and has received interest from Sunderland, Fulham, Everton & surprisingly QPR. He wants a loan move back to England but he is also thinking about a permanent move but is undecided at the moment.

The Australian international feels that playing elsewhere while the MLS is on a break will keep his fitness up whilst he prepares for the World Cup.

Tim Cahill said: “The move depends on getting my body right. But the plan is for the World Cup.”

The loan spell if he does go will last until March when the MLS restarts. The Midfielder has made 43 appearances scoring 13 goals for the American side playing alongside Thierry Henry. The 33 year old set an MLS record for quickest goal after scoring in just 7 seconds against Houston Dynamo.
