Brazil manager Tite praised Richarlison after his performance against Cameroon at Milton Keynes yesterday. Richarlison came on as a substitute for Neymar who left the field due to an injury. He eventually scored the only goal of the match just before half-time.

The goal was the Everton player’s third for Brazil in 6 appearances. Tite praised the 21-year old, telling, “I was not surprised by Richarlison’s performance. What I saw today was the continuation of him always coming on and playing well for Brazil. In his first game, he really impressed with his incision and his finishing, both his head and on the floor.

I’ve also seen him play on the wing for Brazil and play really well and because of his qualities in training, we can also imagine him playing as a second striker as well. He’s someone who’s really impressed me since coming into the team.”

Richarlison has done really well ever since joining Everton from Watford this summer. He has done well for Everton so far and is showing similar progress in the national team.

Richarlison will hope to produce a fine performance for Everton on Saturday when they take on Cardiff City.
