- Next destination for Toivonen could be Norwich. According to reports the english side has agreed a fee around £5million and about to start negotiations for a contract.
- According to Voetbal International he said: “I’m going to talk with the club and then we will see what happens.”
- Chris Hughton has been interested in the 26-year-old since 2008 when he was managing Newcastle and now he wants to match him with his first signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
- Toivonen has only one year left on his contract and PSV has a policy which says that a player that only has one year left on the contract and does not want to extend the contract is remoted to the reserves but as it looks now, a solution is imminent.
- Previously Voetbal International stated that both West Bromwich Albions and Everton have announced their interest in the striker, although none of them made any bids yet.
