Baggies boss wanted striker out the club

Tony Pulis is furious that West Bromwich Albion failed to sell Saido Berahino during yesterday’s transfer deadline day.

The striker was a wanted-man with Tottenham Hotspur making FOUR formal offers for his services, but the club’s owner turned them down each and every time, which lead to a shocking outburst from Berahino himself on Twitter.

Berahino tweeted about his thoughts regarding the saga and ended the tweet by confirming he’ll never play for Jeremy Peace again after he prevented the move to White Hart Lane.

Pulis was pictured during the day leaving West Brom‘s headquarters despite the offers still coming in, but now the morning after, the manager is reportedly furious with how the saga was treated and dealt with.

Furious Pulis

The manager now has a striker who refuses to play for the club, instead of an extra ÂŁ23million in the transfer kitty for the next window.

According to reports, Pulis wanted the club to cash in on Berahino and he told the striker that he could leave earlier in the summer, which is why he’s not been playing him regularly so far this season.

Despite wanting him out, Berahino will now remain at The Hawthorns and the club will have to work something out with the striker.
