6. Albert Stubbins – England
The late Albert Stubbins was truly and outstanding English player in his time, having scored 83 goals in 178 appearance during his career and most of his glory arose when he played for Liverpool. Walter Winterbottom who was managing England at that time never quite saw the glory in Albert as he never gave him a chance at National football. Although other Albert’s era had other great players like Rickie Lambert and Danny Ings, its surprising to know that he never won a cap.
