Another manager who is one of ”Thee Best” in the Premier League. On 6 December, 2010, Chris Hughton was sacked as manager of Newcastle three days later it was confirmed that the club had appointed Alan Pardew as the new manager of the club on a five and a half year deal. Sky sports reported that 40,000 fans took part in the poll of who should take charge of Newcastle with 5.5% in favor of Alan Pardew.

In his first game in charge he led Newcastle to a 3-1 win over Liverpool, he also achieved 5-0 win over his former club West Ham United. In 2012 Newcastle finished ahead of Chelsea which honored him the the Premier League manager of the year award and was offered an 8 year contract which he signed, Alan Pardew brought in a number of fresh players signing these where Demba Ba, Pappis Cisse and a number of players from the French Ligue 1 to strengthen his squad.

On 29 December 2014, after the sacking of Neil Warnock as Crystal Palace manager, Alan was given permission to talk to Crystal Palace for a potential move to the club. On 2 January, 2015 Alan Pardew was confirmed as the new Crystal Palace manager.
