6. Aston Villa
Another team that has honours from the olden days that keeps them in the top-10 most successful English teams list.
Aston Villa have surprisingly seven league titles to their name with the latest one coming in 1981.
Seven FA Cups and five League Cups have also been won by the Midlands club and they could have made it eight FA Cups if they had beaten Arsenal in this year’s final. Sadly for them however, they were thrashed 4-0 in the final.
In 1982 they also won the European Cup.
