In 2011, The Gunners went to St James Park and caused all kinds of problems for The Magpies. In fact, The Gunners were 4-0 up inside half an hour.
Theo Walcott, Johan Djourou and a Robin Van Persie brace gave the visitors a 4-0 lead. Three of those goals came inside 10-minutes.
However the second-half was a different story.
Two Joey Barton penalties either side of a Leon Best goal put Newcastle back in the game at 4-3 and then in the 87th minute, Chieck Tiote completed the outstanding comeback with a stunning volley from outside the box.
Newcastle went on to nearly win the game but just couldn’t net the fifth goal.
Remarkable game. Never to be forgotten.
