Tottenham Eye Eddie Howe As Replacement For Pochettino

Tottenham are eyeing Eddie Howe as a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino in case they can’t make him stay at the club.

The Spurs gaffer has been linked with a number of clubs including the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Tottenham Hotspur are willing to bring in Eddie Howe as a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino in case they fail to make him stay at the club in the near future. The Argentine manager has been tipped to take over at Manchester United on a permanent basis after the Red Devils sacked Jose Mourinho, having endured a very tough time under the tutelage of the Portuguese manager. Real Madrid, who are currently being managed by Santiago Solari, are also keeping their tabs on the Tottenham main man.

However, in case the gaffer leaves White Hart Lane, the Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will demand full compensation from whichever club he moves to. Pochettino has been the pinnacle of success at the north London club, having developed the club into a European powerhouse and a contender to clinch the European trophies in the recent time, and it will not be an easy or inexpensive task for any club who want to pursue his signature.

Speculations are rife that the present Bournemouth manager, Eddie Howe, has been on Tottenham’s radar to replace the Argentine gaffer in case he leaves for either of Manchester United or Real Madrid. The Englishman, just like Pochettino, has helped his side in developing themselves into a club regularly plying in the English top tier over the last few years. However, in an ideal situation, Levy would like to see Pochettino staying at Tottenham.
