Tottenham Hotspur have slapped a £130m price tag for Real Madrid target, Christian Eriksen.

The Dane’s contract with Spurs is about to enter the final season and the Galacticos have recorded heavy interest towards him.

With Zinedine Zidane in charge of the La Liga giants, Madrid are expected to splash out heavy amounts for quality signings. The club is already heavily linked with Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard.

This will not be the first time Tottenham players have been subjected to interest from Real Madrid. Previously, Gareth Bale’s sale broke the world-record fee at €100m in 2013 while Luka Modric went to win the Balon d’Or at the Spanish capital.

Eriksen is a key component in the current Spurs squad and is considered as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League. If he does make the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, Tottenham are projected to make ten times the profit on their original £13m investment.

Madrid are on due for some changes after the season they are currently having. Florentino Perez is expected to provide Zidane with a massive treasure chest to make the necessary additions.

If Tottenham were to lose their top players this summer, they will make sure to charge a premium for it.
