Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offer AC Milan record-signing Erik Lamela in a swap deal for controversial striker Mario Balotelli, according to reports in Italy.

Since joining Spurs in the Summer for a whopping ÂŁ30million, Lamela has only started three Premier League games and has only scored once, and that came in the Europa League.

The former-Roma midfielder was meant to be the replacement for Gareth Bale, who joined Real Madrid for a world record fee of ÂŁ84million, but so far, the Argentinian international hasn’t come anywhere close to replacing the Welshman.

The 21-year-old is now being used as a bate to bring back former-Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli back to the Premier League, and Franco Baldini is working hard on making the deal happen.

In recent matches, the Italian striker has cut an unhappy and fed-up figure despite the arrival of new boss Clarence Seedorf.
