Tottenham Hotspur are currently in pole position to sign Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann, despite the interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
The French winger, who featured in the World Cup in Brazil, has snubbed a new deal at his current club and is desperate to move on to a bigger club to feature in the Champions League.
However, with fresh reports that Spurs are interested, Griezmann now has a decision to make as Mauricio Pochettino looks to strengthen his new side this Summer.
Reports broke yesterday that Chelsea were ready to beat Liverpool to the £20million-rated winger, but it now appears that Spurs are in the lead from the English pack, with German champions Bayern Munich also a close competitor.
Despite clubs preparing £20m bids, Sociedad will only accept bids that meet his release clause, which is thought to be around £24m.
It’s believed after signing Alexis Sanchez and Lazar Markovic, Arsenal and Liverpool respectively are now no longer interested in signing the Frenchman.
