Tottenham have opened up talks with Blackpool winger Thomas Ince after a stunning £8m bid. Ince was a Liverpool trainee and scored somewhat of a wonder goal in Blackpool’s home win against Watford on Saturday.

Ince has already turned down a Premier League move this summer, turning down a move to newly promoted Cardiff City as he wanted to remain in the noreth-west with his family.

Spurs look set to make an eye watering bid for the winger who may even be allowed to remain at Blackpool for the rest of the season on loan similar to Zaha’s tenure at Crystal Palace before his move to Manchester United.

Ince is seen as one of the brightest young British players and Karl Oyston, Blackpool chairman, wants to keep hold of the youngster. Spurs have already spent £110 million this summer with the likes of Eric Lamela from Roma in a £30 million deal and Roberto Soldado from Valencia for £26 million.

Everton are also rumoured to be interested in the winger and certainly their position in the country would keep Ince in the north of the country and may be more suited to Ince.
