Tottenham have lodged an £8m bid for Emmanuel Emenike. The striker is currently a wanted man with both Chelsea and Liverpool also keeping tabs on him.
He spent two very successful seasons at Spartak Moscow before returning to Fenerbache but he has struggled to hit the same form that got him a move due to a number of injuries. However, it hasn’t put off Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino who is hoping to bring Emenike to England this month.
Tottenham currently have had to rely on Harry Kane to bag the goals upfront, with Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor failing to hit the back of the net. With the club looking to bolster their strikeforce and therefore increase the amount of goals being scored, they have now identified Emenike as a top target.
They have launched an £8m bid and they are confident that a deal can be done in the next week to bring the Nigerian to White Hart Lane.
