Mauricio Pochettino wants to bolster his squad for next season

Tottenham started the season off brightly and was looking to be a promising campaign but are now reaching for a disappointing end. With no possibilities of Silverware this season, the club is looking to finish the season in a flourish and secure a Champions League spot for next season.

Mauricio Pochettino has talked about changing their mentality to claim Silverware and is planning to bolster his squad this summer to improve his squad. He is also willing to let go of some players.

Tottenham Hotspur will allow Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama to leave the club as they look to raise funds, says The Daily Mail . The club want to raise around £170 million and use the fund to sign new players.

They value Rose, Alderweireld and Wanyama  in the ÂŁ50 million bracket. Dembele, who has one year left on contract, is valued around ÂŁ20 million plus. Though the players have been key to Pochettino’s plans, The North London club are willing to sacrifice them to help rejuvenate the squad for next season when they move to their new ground.

Both Rose and Alderweireld have fallen out of favors and haven’t featured for the club many times this season. Dembele and the club is yet to agree on a new contract extension and is likely to be sold rather than leave on a free transfer. Wanyama hasn’t had a regular run in the team and could look elsewhere for more playing time.
