Spurs could make a move for winger this summer
Tottenham have dropped their interest in Wilfried Zaha in the month’s transfer window, but could still make the move for the winger this summer.
The reason for the snub this month is due to the player jetting off with the Ivory Coast to the African Cup of Nations.
Zaha has scored 4 goals in the Premier League this season for Crystal Palace, his highest tally since the 2014/15 season.
The 24-year-old has also six assists, ranking him inside the top 10 players in the league, but is now set to miss up to six weeks of Palace’s campaign having flown to Abu Dhabi on Wednesday to meet his new international team-mates.
It is understood that the absence from league action has dissuaded Spurs from making a move this month, but it’s thought that Maurcio Pochettino is still a big admirer of the Palace star and will likely remain a target in the summer.
