The Premier League is known for their upsets and today it produced yet another one.

White Hart Lane was stunned at the final-whistle as The Hammers came out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Winston Reid, Ricardo Vaz Te and Ravel Morrison.

Here is some match reaction.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas:

“I think they scored in a moment when they were very, very strong – through set plays, they got first to the second ball.

“It can happen in games like this. We didn’t have that quick reaction to get back into the game because they scored the second soon after.

“The game started 100 miles per hour for both teams, with both looking threatening. They had good spells and so did we. The second had we were not first to the ball in the 50-50 duels. They were a bit more aggressive and punished us.

“We have conceded three goals today but before we were the team who conceded the least chances. This time West Ham managed to surprise us and we have to bounce back. This would be a good goal for us.

“It is [a wakeup call]. This fixture was a bit dangerous. If we won everything would be spectacular but if you draw or lose you drop into a position you don’t want to be. Either way we have done well so far.”

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce on Ravel Morrison:

“He’s 20, but he’s quite old in terms of years but he’s learnt so much in a short period of time. That’s the beauty. The penny has dropped.

“While [his former manager] Sir Alex Ferguson told me I hope you can sort him out because you will have a top class player on the your hands, I’m not sure I’ve done that but he’s enjoying his football. He can do something no one else can do and we saw that today.”

West Ham skipper Kevin Nolan:

“Ravel Morrison has been fantastic. Last year we had a lot of problems with him his lifestyle off the pitch but he went to Birmingham [on loan] and worked hard and came back and got back in the team.

“Me and Mark Noble speak to him and have had big long chats with him and we like to protect him and take him under our wing. We are excited by his talent, and I think you are now starting to see the player that Manchester United saw when he was younger.”
