Spurs are ready to sell few players to raise funds

Tottenham started the season off brightly and was looking to be a promising campaign but is ending on a disappointing note. With no possibilities of Silverware this season, the club is looking to finish the season in a flourish and secure a Champions League spot for next season.

Mauricio Pochettino has talked about changing their mentality to claim Silverware and is planning to bolster his squad this summer to improve his squad for the next season.

Tottenham are ready to splash the cash to land Lazio duo Sergey Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile, the Mirror claims. Both the players have been scouted by the club in the past few weeks and have been impressed by them.

The cost is expected to be £100 million plus for the two Serie A stars, but Spurs are ready to offload a number of fringe players to get the cash to make a deal. Their plan is to maintain the core of the side that has blossomed under the Argentine boss.

Premier League giants will allow Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama to leave the club as they look to raise funds. The club wants to raise around £170 million and use the fund to sign new players.

Pochettino wanted someone to replace dembele in the midfield for long term and Savic is just 23 and is already one of the best midfielders in the world. Immobile offers Pochettino an alternative to Kane up front, as he looks for a striker who can take the goalscoring weight off the England star.

But signing the players won’t be easy as many other top European clubs are interested in them.
