Roma veteran Francesco Totti has spoken out against Mario Balotelli, claiming the forward “doesn’t listen to anyone.”
The two Italians were involved in an incident four years ago as Totti was sent off for kicking out at the then Inter Milan forward, as his side lost 1-0 in the Coppa Italia Final.
And it appears Totti’s view on the Liverpool striker has not changed much as he has been quoted saying: “‘I would not give advice to Balotelli. Everyone tries to, but he does not listen to anyone.”
Totti did however echo the thoughts of newly appointed Italy coach Antonio Conte, who spoke to Raisport before his side’s friendly against Albania, saying: “I’m not so arrogant as to claim that I’m different from the great coaches, but the past tells us that they failed to change Balotelli.
“It’ll be up to the player, but I don’t have much time and I need certain things.”
