Turkish side Trabzonspor have revealed their interest in former-Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The now-Fulham star has been off-form so far this season and could be on his way out of England come January, with Trabzonspor heavily interested in the Bulgarian.
The Turkish outfit are looking to spend heavy amounts of cash in the Winter transfer market thanks to extra investment from businessman Ali Agaoglu and the club president, Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu has confirmed that Berbatov is one of their main targets.
“Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov has been on our agenda.
“We want better and better quality and are endeavouring to add that to our squad.
“We are pleased with our team, but there are weaknesses and we will supplement with whatever we need to do.
“We have the names of a few players, but I do not want to reveal them.
“Businessman Ali Agaoglu has promised us a star.”
