Barcelona star could move to Italy, says agent

The Barcelona fullback did get his name on the scoresheet in the latest El Clasico, but according to his agent, the player could move to Italy.

Roma have been keeping tabs on the Barcelona fullback, Aleix Vidal. The Italian club would welcome Vidal in the winter transfer window.

The 28-year old scored the final goal for Barcelona in the dying minutes of the game as Barcelona thrashed Real Madrid 3-0 at Santiago Bernabeu.

Ruggero Lacerenza, Vidal’s agent, said that the player would fancy a move to Roma in the transfer window.

Speaking to Tele Radio Stereo, he said: “It is true, there is interest from Roma.”

Speaking about reuniting Vidal with the former Sevilla Director, Lacerenza said: “Aleix is a very high-level player and it would be good to meet with Monchi since they worked well together in Seville and had a good personal relationship.”

Apart from Roma, Vidal has also been linked with a move to another Spanish club, Atletico Madrid.

“Aleix is happy in Spain, but that does not mean he would not like to try other leagues or other clubs. The important thing is that the two clubs agree on the terms, but for us, a loan agreement is a possible solution.”
