Chelsea Football Club will have a fight on their hands in January to keep hold of star Juan Mata as a whole host of clubs are reported to be interested in the Spaniard after it appears that Jose Mourinho doesn’t seem him as a regular starter.
Despite being the club’s player of the season last year, Mata has been used as a fringe player so far this season under Mourinho and he could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge in the winter transfer window.
The Spaniard was heavily linked with a move away in the summer after falling down the pecking order at Chelsea, with both Manchester United and Arsenal keen on the 25-year-old.
Now it appears that Seria A duo Juventus and Napoli are weighing up potential bids as well as Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.
Although Mata has insisted that he is happy to stay at The Bridge and fight for his place, with the World Cup taking place next summer, he will be desperate for game-time in order to get a spot on the plane for Spain.
