The 2018/19 UEFA Champions League Round Of 16 fixtures have been revealed and we are all in line for a massive treat.
Manchester United vs Paris Saint-Germain
The French giants showed us a brink of what they are capable of this season in the group stage against Liverpool. One can only imagine what they will deliver to this United side.
Athletico Madrid vs Juventus
Juventus does have the edge due to their recent performances in the competition but no one should dismiss a Diego Simeone-led side. Not a someone Cristiano Ronaldo is unfamiliar with though!
Schalke vs Manchester City
An easy walkthrough for city or more of a warm reunion story for Leroy Sane? Hopefully, Pep fields the German instead of going with the Mahrez-Sterling combo.
Ajax vs Real Madrid
Bit of a doozy if Madrid remains stuck in the woeful form they are currently in but nothing too concerning for the reigning European champions.
Liverpool vs Bayern Munich
A bit of regret not seeing the two clash in the semi-finals of the competition last term but luckily we get to see them go at this time around. Jurgen Klopp will be relishing the chance to go up against a former rival.
AS Roma vs FC Porto
Porto hardly faced much competition in the group stage but will be tested against the past season semi-finalists. Certainly a fairly matched fixture.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Borussia Dortmund
Two of the youngest and fastest teams in the competition going against each other. Pochettino is yet to prove himself in the European stage and Dortmund is expected to mount the pressure. Hopefully, the entire Dortmund team can stay healthy till then.
Lyon vs Barcelona
Bruno Genesio’s men did remarkable well against Manchester City in the group stages but somehow only scraped their way into the knockouts. It might not be enough to take down Lionel Messi and Co.
